Hi Vanessa,   Just thought we would drop you a note to thank you once again for the wonderful walk last Wednesday. It was the highlight of our holiday by a long, long way. The route was just right, the weather great and the company was wonderful as well. Just a pity the weather broke as we were so looking forward to the walk on friday but I'm afraid we're wimps!
Hopefully we can return (at a different hotel!!) and enjoy some more of the beautiful countryside there.
Thanks again
Bryan and Glynnis
PS Have just seen the photos on smugmug - great!

09/11/2006 (email)           Dear Neil & Vanessa,

Many thanks for some most enjoyable walking in the Benidorm area. Despite the rain, I greatly enjoyed your leadership and company, although Benidorm itself left a lot to be desired. Just been looking at your web site, and will continue to do so,and would be interest to hear of your progress with your Pyrenean project, and maybe walk in that area at a later date.
Once again, thanks and best wishes,       Alan.

06/03/06 (email)     Hi! Vanessa & Neil

Thankyou for leading us on four lovely walks which were all so different.  The scenery along with the almond blossom was wonderful as was the company.  Although we have travelled quite a lot this was our first visit to Spain.  Having been on your walks we can now tell our friends there is much more to Benidorm than sea and sand!
Hopefully we can keep the walking boots on and we will meet again because we really enjoyed the walks.
Jean and Alistair

22/03/2004 (email) Dear Neil & Vanessa, As you can see, we are back home and really missing the Benidorm lifestyle - no more big breakfasts, pack lunches and good weather. Now its cold, wet and back to work for Maureen and a pair of marigolds for me. We just want to say thank you once again for your guided walks which completely transformed our holiday enabling us to see the beautiful countryside & mountains around Benidorm while in good company.  We also send our regards to Jimmy and John and hope to see you all again soon - if not during October then March '05.See you soon Andrew & Maureen Wainwright

24/03/2004 (email) Dear Vanessa and Neil  Very many thanks for another really enjoyable walking holiday.   Please pass on our grateful thanks to Jim and John.   We have some lovely photos, and very good memories of our walks and laughs with you all.  We have booked to return to the Flamingo next February (2005) for another three weeks, so you haven't heard the last of us.   We will be in touch with you early in the New Year.  Essex seems rather flat after the 'Mountains-juxta-Benidorm', but we will manage somehow.   After all, we may not have mountains but we have ....... can't think of anything we do have! Again, thank you and your team for good, enjoyable holiday walking. Audrey and Neville

23/01/2004 (email) Dear Neil & Vanessa, Just thought we would send you this photo of one of the walks that we did with you. We really enjoyed the walks  especially the strenuous ones!! We are booking up for two weeks at the Rialto next year at the same time and will probably book direct with you for the walks. We will decide how many nearer the time. Thanks for some great walks. Mary & Roy O.

14/12/2003 (email)  Dear Vanessa, thanks again for our walks with you last month - even the rain was memorable and we hope that those nice dry valleys are dry again ! We just remembered that we talked about "The Lion & Albert" and . . . . . . . . .  Back home, we found it surprisingly mild on our return and did a couple of walks last week with our group in county Durham - and it's nearly Christmas !  Best wishes to you and Neil -  Allan & Linda G.

05/12/2003 (email)  Dear Vanessa and Neil, thanks very much for the lovely walks last week on the Costa Blanca. The weather and scenery were superb and made for enjoyable days out.  Unfortunately my back was playing up towards the end and in view of my flight back to the U.K. I thought it was better to take it easy, so we had a gentle walk from Alfaz to Altea and back which was lovely.  Thank you for refunding the money which we received and we are now back in cold and miserable Leeds. Wishing you both a Very Happy Xmas and a Happy Healthy New Year, best wishes also to Jim. Love Pam and Edwina

19/04/2003 (email) Hi Vanessa, Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed  the 4 walks we participated in recently. We were impressed with the variety of walks and the spectacular views. We would also like to comment on the efficiency of your organisation. The weather here, since our return has been something very special. Mike went for a coastal walk the day after our return and the thermometer reached 25C - unheard of in recent years. He also took the opportunity to talk to different members of the walking group who might be interested in walking in the Benidorm area. You will probably be seeing some of them next year. Thank you again, Jenny & Mike S.

Chelmsford 20/11/2002 (e-mail)  Dear Vanessa -  Thank you for a couple of weeks´ very good walking. We both enjoyed ourselves so much that we have decided to walk again in Las Marinas and have booked to the Flamingo Benidorm for three weeks in Feb/Mar 04. We hope the blossoms and flowers will be about then. We will be looking at seven walks with the option of more and will contact you towards the end of 2003 with dates and so on. Again thanks to you and your team.  Essex Boy and Girl     Audrey & Neville H.

Leieicester 15/03/01 (snail-mail)  To everybody at Bikes & Hikes - Thankyou for giving me a whole new impression of Benidorm (no fish & chips). The scenery was just beautiful. It was certainly one of the best holidays of my life and a great way to celebrate turning 40 ... Take care everybody and will see you again. Deborah P.

10/11/2002 (e-mail)   Dear Vanessa, Just a thank-you for the lovely walks Edith and I did with your team on the Costa Blanca last week. It was quite a shock coming back to cold wet Birmingham Airport last night. Give our regards to our fellow walkers walking with you this week that were with us last week and I hope they are having as enjoyable time as we did. I do so envy you all out there in the warmth and sunshine. Please keep us informed of any changes in your company name etc. as I would love to recommend you to our friends and come  walking with you again. Best regards Richard & Edith H.

21/11/ 2003  email   Hi Vanessa, Sorry we missed you on Monday. I would like to add my thanks to those of Rita for the efforts of you and your colleagues to make our walking holiday a success. Additionally I would like to thank you for taking the risk of letting me on the walks. As you know it was also an experiment as far as I was concerned. I was delighted that all went well. Pity that I was so overweight and unfit as to make my uphill progress so slow, I hope that it was not too frustrating for you and the rest of the group. We will certainly spread the word around about your company and we wish you all success in your future efforts and in the new venture in France. Regards  Hugh H.

02/04/2002 (e-mail) Vanessa, Just a short note to say thanks again for a most enjoyable time. The walking and the bikes was much better than expected. The team you have working with you certainly help and add to the enjoyment. Such a considerate and helpful group. I have written to ------- complaining about the way their rep handled our small problem and made it quite clear that I was happy with the way you resolved the situation, and suggesting their rep may learn something from you in terms of customer care ! Thanks again Margaret & Bob D.

27/05/2003 (snail-mail) Dear Vanessa, Here I am back in the familiar routine walking, golfing and gardening after an excellent April holiday in Benidorm. When Benidorm was proposed as the location for this year´s venture abroad I was less than enthusiastic but against my better judgement decided to come - thankfully. How wrong can you be? It turned out to be one of our most successful foreign forays. This was primarily down to you for planning a varied itinerary of well organised walks. I much appreciated the effort you took to make it more than just a walk in the country - lending me your books to study the local flora for example. Please find enclosed a photograph taken on the last walk of the holiday. Many thanks and kindest regards   John J.
